i got a pinnacle usb capture card and i can capture tv but when i switch the tv over to component 1 for my xbox 360 all i get is sound. any advice.
also... i have it hooked up with the red, white, and yellow cables, and my 360 im using the red white blue green and red. ps and vegas wont detect the pinnacle. any help would be appreciated.

The xbox is not capable of running a component and composite source at the same time. In other words, you have to either play in high def and not record, or play in standard def and use splitters to record your stuff.

use a rf modulator and then split a coax cable

there was a little list that i found for inputs into vegas and my cap. card was there just no sound or vid.

Your using an HDTV, right?
Well, if you are you should have the AV PC inputs, which is just the White, Red, and Yellow cords. Switch your Xbox to Normal TV with your Component plug, then plug your three red, white, and yellow into the TV. And use your splitters to split the signal. I get no sound that way though....I don't understand. I don't get sound period.
