Capture with color problem.. - 04-22-2007, 11:39 PM

Okay I am going to explain my problem.
I have a 360 with hd wires. I connect the hd wires to my standard def tv which inturn turns whatevers on the screen black and white, and the regular wires I connect to my external capture card.

I WANT TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF WIRES SHOULD I BUY SO I CAN PLAY AND RECORD IN COLOR.

lol im black and i thought that was the funniest thing in the world at the time

but you might want to check your cables and make sure theyre working right
but if that dosent work if you have a s video cable slot try the s video cable for the 360 thats what i use and you can play and record at the same time, you might want to have extenders for the av cables though

You can't cap in hd on the 360. You either have to cap using just the regular red, white, yellow cables and have it in the video input (not component, you don't use the other 3). Or you could buy the 360 S-Video cable.
