Dropping Frames? - 04-30-2007, 05:04 PM

So I heard Angelo's CC was dropping frames. Now out of 7000 attempts at buying a CC I'm actually going to get mine this time, last time the store didn't have any ATI's I want to make sure i don't make any mistakes... so what causes frames to drop?

im pretty sure it happens when your computer cant handle all the shit thats on it...probably low RAM....or maybe something stupid as a bad gfx card maybe.

my shit used to drop frames on my laptop until i got a new way better comp. and it doesnt

sooo...you can either upgrade your ram...or you can try and clear out your computer from all its clutter and hopefully it will then be able to handle the capturing

or just capture in Vdub...my computer cant handle the ATI software so i would drop frames for about 60 seconds every three to four minutes...i get better quality with vdub and smaller files also...

There is alot of things that may cause it.

Bad computer, too long calbe, something that is interrupting the signals.

Just a few.
