High Definition Capture Card

Well we are in the era of new-aged consoles and I was wondering if anyone knows of any capture cards that can capture in high definition. I want one that can capture with the hd cables for the 360. Is it also external or internal? I was wondering this for anyone and everyone besides myself that is going to capture halo 3 and any other games. Normally I didn't care, but now, I play in high definition and I want to keep it that way.

haha, none of those will work.. you'll need one with component inputs.. Google that. I've searched into it before and those cc's are extremely pricey. on top of that you'll need a beastly machine to be able to catch up with capture and compress that hd format footage into mpeg footage.

damn, VGA input eh? I might have to check that out. I've been looking for something to enable me to still play on my pc monitor and capture on my pc. (via the VGA xbox 360 cables) so I can still enjoy my mouse and keyboard adapter as if I'm playing a pc game... with controller nubs

Yeah blackout is on the right track! I have looked up the same one, but you are looking for something that has high def input. Which means it needs teh blue,red and green input cables. I have seen them and they were like 800$. The prices will eventually some down. But like blackout said if you have a elite the come with the HDMI and you can use one of those cards. I would call about it first though and tell them exactly what you are doin and see what they see. If you cannot afford it then just stick with s-video right now bc it is still very good quality>
