help with pinnacle studios

hi iv made some ruff clips with my Capture card and it turned out fine but in black and white....the only thing is my pc got a virus and i did system restore and my pinnacle studios was deleted now i have no recording program..iv tried to upload it again with the disc but it just freezes i think the disk is scratched. anyone no what i can do or if there is any other program i can record with???????????

Look into Virtual Dub (V-Dub)...
