I can capture - hOrrific Story! (Few Questions)

So yeah I get my distribution amp, my CC, all my cables (need to buy one s-video tomorrow)... but I open the pinnacle software.. AND IT'S A DVD.
Not a CD rom, a DVD... lol I don't have a DVD player anymore, so I have to go out and buy one tomorrow.

I downloaded the CC Drivers and stuff so I am capturing with Virtual Dub, but I had a few questions.

I think I'm good on actually capturing. I go
Capture AVU -> Set Capture File -> Start Capturing... and I have sound and everything, but my questions were.

1) How do I compress my files so I can upload them to mythica, quality tests baby

2) Why when I open a file in Vdub does it open 2 screens side/side or one over the other O_o

Buy splitters so you can play on your tv.

How do I make the size small so I can upload it though

Compress them with your editing program. Or you could use a program like MPEG Streamclip or Virtual Dub.
