Help - 09-18-2005, 08:13 AM

Okay, I'm thinking of getting a ATI TV Wonder Pro, and I was wondering EXACTLY what else I will need to hook it up to my laptop.

http://shop.ati.com/product.asp?sku=...7&section_id=9

Please just list the items, and use their real names, I'm not a very computer-fluent person

The ATI TV Wonder Pro won't work on a laptop. Only a desktop. It requires a regular PCI slot (internal), not a PCIMIA slot (the expansion area on a laptop.)

You should look into a Dazzle 90 or 150. If you get the dazzle 150, you just need another set of audio/video cables for output to your TV. (the Dazzle 150 has audio/video in, USB 2.0 out [to your computer] and audio/video out to your TV.)

For the Dazzle 90, you'll need audio and video splitters. I can't tell you exactly what you need (or how many of them) but TheHaloGod probably does.

I have no experience with the Dazzle 90, but from my understanding if you have the money it'd be better to buy the Dazzle 150. And then go with Fragger's help.

For future refrence title your thread with an actual topic rather than "help." I rarely read "help" I'll read, ATI TV Wonder Pro Compression Question, or something, but not just help. Just be specific

See this

Then again, no one reads forum rules lol.
