If I bought this

And hook the video out to my tv and the S-Video out to my capture card would it still work?

Would I still be able to play on my tv with regular composite video and record in S-Video??

My audio would be hooked to my surround sound then through the audio out in my reciever to my capture card, which is what I'm currently doing.

Yupp, that'd work great, that's acually what a lot of people use to get S-Video into their capture cards.

Thanks man, now if only I had a new hardrive to start recording again lol.

I have a $500 credit card bill, finally got another job, got a speeding ticket the other day (PLEASE let me do defensive driving instead of paying money)

Might be awhile Oh all the footage I could have captured!!
