Better Method for capturing (Awesome quality). - 04-08-2006, 08:43 PM

Ok...so most the people that capture here at GV use either the Advanced AV Pack (very hard to find), or they split the video signal using THG's method. I have found a totally cheaper and more convienant way to capture in excellent quality.

For Xbox 360 owners..

Ok. Simply plug the yellow cord into your capturing device, and plug the S-Video cord into the TV (For best capture quality, plug the S-Video cord into the capture card, and the yellow cord into the TV). Now, split the audio signals and you are set. Now you won't have to bust your balls trying to find an Advanced AV Pack. Plus, these cords only cost $10-$15 buck at most retailers.

Its good if your tv is absolutely right next to your pc.
I got my A/V pack for 6 dollars more on ebay. Well worth the investment.

That's how I do it, my TV doesn't have an S video plug tho, so I use my S video on my capture card for insane quality, and then I split my Audio... I thought most people did this?
