Capture Cards

I decided that I wanted to record my montage and I've been hearing and reading in a lot of forums that you need a good capture card to do this. So my questions are:

Is that all you need???

can you post pictures of decent capture cards I could use???

(try to post pictures of the box and not the capture card so I have an easier job trying to pick one up)
