Yo, Quick Question

For those like Ephrum, Phalanx, Hoax, THG, basically the good editors...

what program do you use to make those cool titles like the Gvidz intro, the Pdz intro, etc., is it after effects or what is it? A little help would be nice, thx

I believe that they used after effects to make em.. I have to say that my fav title intro is the one for halogod.com; how the .com curls out of halogod

amp if you check out the title for my first tage...thats after effects...i have to say its deff the hardest of all adobe programs...i bought a 100 dollar adobe learning cd kit....it takes more than a little tut to do titles.....but once u get to know the program..thers no end...you can do anything

Ehh... not really. I learned AFX with one tutorial. Which basically taught me the use of Key Frames... the rest was all just expirimentation.

THG is really good with AFX... he's got a really simple style... but it's much better then I could do right now.

Just DL the Adobe After Effects free 30 day trial... off of Adobe's web site. And visit www.pixel2life.com ...they have a few tutorials (very few)... but run through a few of them, and you'll get the basic idea of using Key Frames to animate. Also...a lot of the tools are very similar to Adobe Photoshop... it's just that you're working with video rather then a still canvas.

yup i did my trailer in after effects. its def hard to learn, but once you get a feel for it, its so much fun, just like the rest of adobe's programs

im talking about making it 3D.....not just he little title thing ....with camera views and stuff

well the first part where i have the spartan fade in, that was layermasking, and so was the visor reflection. but yea you can take text, convert to 3d layer or add cameras and pull off some real sweet looking titles.
