Video Editing Software

I am wondering which program would be better for creating and editing montages. Sony Vegas 6.0 or Adobe Premiere Pro? I do not have much experience with editing so which one would be best to learn on and get some advanced knowledge? Help would be greatly appreciated.

either one, i can edit in both, download the trials and see which one suits your style more

If you want the best results use Premiere pro but if you want ease of use and quickness use Vegas.

ya, premiere pro is very complex, i can edit in it, i can just use vegas ALOT better...

Vegas is for people who want the program to do everything for them
Premeire is for people who actually know how to edit and want the satisfaction of doing it themselves.

I voted Premeire...

However, the BEST editing program out the is Final Cut Pro, for the mac.

ya, my uncle is a graphic artist, and has some graphic art mac computer or something, and he has final cut pro, and is amazing at editing and stuff
