Capturing Help PLEASE!!! - 05-09-2006, 06:44 PM

ok so when I bought my computer a year ago I got Windows Media Center and I decided to buy a Dell external USB tv tuner (since i bought a laptop). Now I can record tv with this using WMC since I have my xbox cables split into my tv and into the tv tuner...I was just wondering if anyone else has done it this way or knows anything about it and can tell me if there is any other way to record than through WMC...WMC records in dvr format and even though its great quality its a pain in the ass to edit...any suggestions??

Probably best to go and get either Vegas or Adobe Premiere to capture then edit the xport settings there. If not you could just make the main montage in WMM then edit slightly in Vegas or Premier? Good luck

BTW I just got a WMC laptop, they are awesome arnt they

*thg here, .amp. asked me to remove him from the site, but to avoid messing with the forum database I simply moved his post count down to zero.

Edit: changing the post count didn't work so I'm just going to leave it for now.*
