DVD Recorder question... I'm still not sure how it works beyond the obvious - 10-15-2005, 08:55 PM
Ok, is there a way you could say... for example, hook up an XBOX 360 to the Dvd recorder with the red green blue white and yellow cords and then record footage onto the Dvd recorder like that? Or do they only support the standard red white and yellow video cables?
Because I was thinking about it... and while searching on eBay I discovered that hd capture cards (room for red, green, blue, white and yellow cables) are like 500 dollars! So I came to the conclusion that a DVD recorded that could accept the cables that come with the Premium XBOX 360 bundle would be best. Is this possible? Come on you guys out there with DVD recorders. Thanks a bunch |

In most cases, yes. The only problem with that is (unlike good VCRs) there is a delay of about 1/2 a second. Which screw up everything. I use the A/V out on my TV to go into my DVD recorder.
That would be another problem of yours. You'd have to find a DVD recorder with no delay (damn near impossible to find) or a TV with Component Video out.
