Avermedia/VirtualDub help

i have an Avermedia capture card and i want to capture with VirtualDub but when i do capture with it and i play it back, it doesnt work. Does anyone know how to fix this? i record but then it wont show up or doesnt show video and when i encode it , theres no video just sound

You might want ot fiddle around with the settings. When I couldnt use my Dazzle 90, I fiddled with the settings and it worked! It sounds also that you may have the wrong PAL/NTSC settings, try adjusting thoughs

Thats all I can think of.

i have the NTSC settings correct but when i capture sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt, like when i capture for about maybe a 9 min game it messes up when i play it back and encode it.

ok i have a avermedia cap card, is yours internal or external, and there should be software that came with he card which captures in amazing quality!

mine is internal Avermedia AverTV PVR 150 Plus

Do you have other programs running on your computer while you're capturing?
Try closing other programs
Get the latest updates and drivers for your Avermedia capture card.
