Hey guys
you know im rarely ever in this part of the forums lol.... but i just got my ati with vegas and vdub n all that junk... Expect me to be asking aloooot of questions on these threads, because im a CapCard NewB, and my aim isnt working anyway... I wanna know how i can take out a certain song i like from a dvd, i dont want the video, just the audio part of it... Can someone help plZ pm or reply ThanX

well for just the audio you dont even need to use ur cap card. just take a cable with 2 headphone jacks on it. plug one into ur tv's headphone port, the other into your computers microphone port. make sure all ur mic settings are working (ie its not muted). open up windows sound recorder, hit record, then hit play on the dvd player. shazam

is there some way i can record the audio while the dvd is in the computer drive?
i just tried something i put the dvd in the drive, opened up catalyst but the record button didnt show.... can i use wmp to get the audio or can you not do it while the dvds in the drive??

you could always download a DVD ripper. Rip it to wmv or avi format, transport into Vegas, find the song int the audio field and cut it out.
long process and will probably be a pain in the ass but it'll work but if you know the song just download it |
