Fraps and VirtualDub Problems - 10-04-2006, 08:36 PM

Ok let me start with the Fraps. Whenever I record anything it never records the sound for some reason. I tryed playing around with the opitions but I havent had any luck.

Also with VD I keep trying to compress my video but if anything the video just gets larger lol.

Someone please help....

lol, FRAPS records in .mpg if im not mistaken, and virtual dub renders things as .AVI... lol

1 sec mpg = 12 megabyte .AVI... im not sure if that helps you at all

Im not so sure about the Fraps sound issue.. you have it set to the right sound device and checked to record sound? Do you use a sound card or the intergrated sound card on your motherboard? other than that I have no clue what would be the problem.
