Help needed please - 10-29-2006, 12:22 PM

whenever i record games with my capture card, it saves them as a "MPEG-2" file. I can't convert this into a file i can edit , this is very annoying and frustrating, any help is appreciated. Thanks Jaydee.

alright, vegas will NOT open MPEG-2 files without a plugin

i suggest you go to www.downloads.com

and download "Windows Media Encoder 9" and convert your files to .wmv than open them in Vegas to edit

Lol, its messing with my head to the point it hurts. I got a convertor and it worked, but the quality was reduced and it had a watermark over the front of the output file. Only way to remove it was to pay about £100, so i ain't doin that.
