Cheers, do they deliver to the UK ?. Erm can i record from the 360 cause it uses scart ?.

they should deliver to the UK. maybe there's an electronics retailer that's in the UK area so you can save on shipping, but i wouldn't know since i dont live there.

if you capture off the 360, you wouldn't be able to capture in high definition though. at best you'd capture video at 480p. a usb device would bottleneck due due to bandwidth constraints, and i'm not sure if capture devices can capture at HD resolution at any reasonable prices yet.

note: most dvds are deinterlaced video, hence progressive scan. interlaced dvds haven't been in use for a long time now. in any case deinterlacing is usually an option when you finally encode your video, so it shouldn't be that big of a deal.
The problem is getting the card to work with other software packages, it doesn't play well with others. Also, when I emailed Hauppage about de-interlacing they said that my card does not support that, so whatever that means.

strange; o well i use dr. divx for divx compression, and it seems to support almost everything.
