Important Finding *Read if you're British*

Ok guys I have found something out about capturing that you will need to know if you're British! Warning this might not apply to all Capture cards or devices.

If you want to make a montage or make great gameplay videos, chances are you will only be able to do it on a Xbox 360. I made my montage on a 360, this morning tried to capture on my Xbox and it didnt work. This is most probably because of a software change in the Xbox to the 360. The original Xbox didnt allow you to capture on PAL 60 on in PAL 50 and even then in black and white (we are talking about 2001 not 1921) The 360 develpoers clearly saw the whole montage thing and allowed capture cards and devices to capture on PAL 60.

If you need a guide on how to capture please look at this thread. Im very sorry to all those that want to capture on and old Xbox on PAL 60 but it seems that you cant

It has nothing to do with the Xbox's software. You just need a capture card that can capture Pal-60.

It works with my 360 but not with my Xbox 1. I dont change anything

My capture device works with PAL 60 so it was thinking that it must be the Xbox software.

Also one little small detail that I missed out was that the capture works on the Xbox up untill the dsahboard turns off and the game starts up.

Im very confused now, all I know is that it works on the 360 and not on the Xbox.

Also, on the 360. Colors, light ans other stuff is better.
On the orginal Xbox you have to change, by experiences of Maxelll.

I'm getting a new cap card soon and even if it can't capture on pal 60 ill be okay as i can't play any worse. Last time i played pal 50 i got a killimonjaro in a 7 man FFa on Midship.

Yea, I've managed to get a picture on my 360 but not my xbox.

You can change between PAL-50 and 60 in settings in the dashboard.
