dvd recorder

does anyone recomend using a dvd recorder to make videos? i think the picture quality would be a lot beter....

This is the one I was thinking about getting when I was talking to you on Live yesterday.

All you have to do is record to DVD, then hook the DVDplayer up to your capture card, and record everything from the DVD.

Also, cr4zy, wait until Labor Day weekend. Thats what I am doing. You'll get insane deals at places like best buy.

I'm telling you man see this post. You can't get that much better than that unless you want to spend 4 times the money and up. And I think it's pretty good.

Just see the part where it says half res clip or something like that.

Thats what I would do too. If my PC and my Xbox were near eachother. Unfortunately for me, they aern't. I already had to go through HELL to set up Windows ICS (took me about 3 hours to drill the holes and wire the cables) through 2 walls from my PC to my xbox. Don't want to go through that again.

For me, I got lucky. My parents have been asking "Can we burn DVDs yet?" for MONTHS! Today, I finally convinced them that we should just go out and buy one. Now I just have to wait until Labor Day weekend for all the good "deals" to come out. Then, my quality will hopefully be just as good as yours (thats directed towards TheHaloGod.)
