Component input with the white XBox is about the same, quality wise, as HDMI is with the new black 360. I'm not giving M$ 480 more dollars for virtually the same product in a different color. Sadly others are dumb enough to get a black one when they already have a white.

Don't know how old your tv is but some of them have vga connectors in the back

I think this is also an updated system becuase of all the other problems the original 360 had
Plus if still anyone still has original xbox, you might as well get this and go for it all. I see no reason to.
But I see your point Assists. Coughin' up an extra 60-80 dollars is a big problem for other gamers. Especially teens (like me)
