"thought" my 360 crashed

well im playing halo 2 on my 360 cuz thats wut i do and its storming outside. so then all of a sudden my 360 just turns off and im like wtf. then i look up at my 360 cuz its on my dresser in my room and there are those 3 GOD AWFUL red rings. i turn my xbox off and i thought that the storm might have had something to do with it but anyways i turned it off and turned it back on.... it was perfectly fine

please explain and/or discuss

idk thats what mikes did...

It's what mine did. I turned it all off, even at the wall for two days and it was fine. I suggest that you do the same!

well after i turned it back on i played for another hour that night and it was fine.

i just dont want it to crash. im almost sure the storm had something to do with it and itll be fine cuz this has never happened b4 and if it wasnt the storm then what was it?

it couldnt have been me playing 2 long cuz ive played much longer than i did that night at one time.
