Anyone really think shadowrun can survive after H3 releases?

Do you just type just to prove to yourself that you have the capability of typing? You are completely ignorant to the fact that MLG has a huge following. If MLG sticks with SR it will be fine, because the game was made for the MLG style community. MLG has over a million registered users, so yes if they choose to go with SR then MLG will still be fine

Actually it does change things, because they never failed to give something they promised. You can say you don't like the game because it is lacking a campaign, but to say the game is bad because of it is completely unfair. If they said they wanted to make a campaign, and then bailed, by all means complain. But you can't say the game sucks because they didn't deliver something they never had any intention to do. Fasa studios built a game geared towards competitive gaming, and I think it has a good possibility of flourishing if MLG picks it up.

Yes. High Ground wouldnt work as an MLG Map. Valhalla MAYBE if they cut it in half. Snow place I forgot what its is called MAYBE if the took out those gay purple shields.

Yes he was referring to the beta. The beta had only one promising thing IMO. The weapons were balanced, and they took more skill to use. Besides that though, there has been nothing promising to gamers who like Halo at the competitive level. The maps that have been presented by bungie, leaked to the public are huge, even with the forge I dont know what you could do to cut a giant map down to half that size. The team talk feature has been moved to a button on the d pad that is really in a terrible position, IDK why you can just have team talk with your team on all the time, you also cant communicate when your dead anymore. Lets not forget the bubble shield, energy drainer, the new flash bang grenade, the gravity hammer they added, the spartan laser which is laughable. The inability to personalize your controller settings beyond what H2 gave us. I mean no southpaw claw, and why not the ability to map the controller completely to our liking?

On a personal level I am very excited for H3, but there is just as good of a chance that I will be disappointed and hate that game, as opposed to loving it.

i honestly think it can. it is a veryy unique game and can have so many different strategic opportunities. i'm sure some people won't play it anymore cuz of h3, but i think it'll survive.

r u being serious about the uniqueness? i like the game but lets be honest here, its like they took WoW, Halo 2, and Counter Strike and smashed them into one game

I find the game very unique, if you play it the way its supposed to be played, elf's use rifles and rez, trolls lead the attack, human snipe and rifle and use the magic corretly with each class it has countless possibilities, the game is way deeper then H2 could dream of. Remember how watered down H2 was before the updates, you remember before innovative thinking in h2, pre bxr, pre rrx, pre green room set up. I mean H2 has been played for 3 years I cant even imagine how deep and amazing SR will be in 3 years. Funny thing is I dont even own the game

i never loked at shadowrun like that, but your completly right, halo took a bit to take off and only has a limited amount of available strategising when comapred to sr whihc already has so many options and available tactics.

Ahhh was that supposed to be witty?? ehh moving on, MLG does not have a huge following MLG has over 200,000 accounts. Sizable but not a million please. If ShadowRun is their flagship not Halo 3 MLG will not grow and the will miss a golden opportunity to become relevant in the mainstream.
