shadowrun isnt done, the old shadowrun site is ran by the ppl who didnt get a job at microsoft game studios, the ppl who did moved on to there and ext is assuring ppl still after kimona told everyone nothing was coming, cause he said he was one of the testers moved to microsoft game studios, and the game isnt done, no promises on a update or maps, but a few little things are being thrown around atm, either way, me and the other shadowrun ppl at mlg are trying out other maps, and seeing how to exspand shadowrun for the next season, so the same 4 maps dont get boreing, right now its lookin like about 7 maps are perfect for competitve play

and estracti, who were the 3 ppl? gt?

I honeatly dont understand this logic at all. People complained about the imbalances in Halo 2, so bungie makes it more balanced, and needing more skill/strategy to win, and people complain about there not being a 'be all, end all' of weapons (halo 2 BR).

... but if you enjoy another game, great. But i wouldnt dare call a game as huge as Halo 3 a 'gaming dissapointment of catastrophic proportions'... because it clearly isnt.

The BR is hard to use, but because of the large bullet spread the br is not a necessity at all. I really think that bungie made it hard to aim not to please the people who hated auto aim, but to make it where the 35 year old who is playing with his son for the first time can AR people aross the map and outkill the BR user.

I dont have a problem with you or anyone else like H3, but to me I couldn't be more disappointed and I know I am not in the minority. Just the other day I had more friends on H2 then H3. Every day I am seeing less and less people on h3

Look @ the # of players on H3 vs H2 from an XBL perspective, not your friends list. You're very much in the minority, and you can't deny that.

Spread ont he BR is no different than it was in H2, but because of the lack of auto-aim, the lag/latency issue is magnified ten-fold. THAT is why it seems harder.

And I completely disagree that someone can AR you from across the map. At medium/long range the BR destroys the AR. At medium/close range it becomes a matter of if the BR person has good enough aim/movement. At close range the AR destroys.

... its called balance.

I dont have a problem with people disliking H3 and liking H2 better. I do, however, have a problem with the logic and reasoning behind WHY people dislike it.

Agreed. I simply have more fun when I play Halo 2, so I still play that more. I don't think Halo 3 is a bad game by any means, but right now it just doesn't tickle my fancy.

Actually you can do a br spread test. Get the same distance away in h2 as h3 and shoot a wall, now trace the bullet positions on the wall. Over distance H3 has a huge spread with the br meaning even at long range(which is where bungie clearly stated they wanted the br to be used) the BR is very inaccurate

Again I know bungie did the right thing, they made a game that will sell millions even if its not a great game, and because of how much they sold they will stay in business

FASA made a game for the competitive community and have now gone out of business. I just think its sad that a good competitive company will go out of business but a Hollywood company like Bungie will stay around. How many magazines rated H3 as a 10 out of 10 or a 5/5. Everyone including me bought into the millions they were spending on marketing, and when you first touch the game it feels amazing. Sadly when you play it for a short while you realize they screwed up so much in favor of the run in a straight line and melee system they have made halo out to be now. I know that Halo is not a 10/10 or even close.

With that said I dont care if people play H3 I hope people play it and love it. My point is you guys should get SR because if you have any competitive bone in your body you will love this game

If you dont like it cause of the technicalities and because you can't accept change, that is sad. Stick to Call of Duty 4. Play it cause it is fun, not cause the reload or something is off. Accept change and use it to your advantage instead of B!tch. Quinn, I like you. You are a great friend, but some times I dont get it. Sometimes you got to accept it. Shadowrun was an ok game, not the best for many reasons. I hate shooter games, I find it boring, yet I play halo cause the people make it fun. Shadowrun wasn't. Plus it had too many controls and shown here, that is a no no. Gaming Usability 101

I adapted from h1, to h2, to h3. H3 was easiest game of the bunch for me, but it was not my cup of tea, the game itself does not even feel like halo to me. Spartan laser, gadgets, shield doors, they changed the entire universe. None of these things were in any of the previous games and then poof they came out of no where. I dont like H3 I am not telling people to quit playing it, but I am telling people SR is a great game
