Lets see where SR is in 2 years compared to H3. I like SR. I really do. I like H3. But I think I am done with the Halo universe. CoD 4 for me next. But I will play H3 as well.

I personally think there are too many people *****ing about H3 already because it is supposed to be better then H2. Well, give it time. Seriously. It really is a different game now. Halo 3 bashing threads are pointless right now because the game is still an infant. Plus it has way more backing and support then any game ever conceived. I feel big things are coming. But you just need to wait. I'm done with my failure of a competitive side of Halo. I kinda just like still messing around in H3 and pulling crazy shit off. I sniped my friend out of a lift on Construct the other day. I am still giggling.

I honeatly dont understand this logic at all. People complained about the imbalances in Halo 2, so bungie makes it more balanced, and needing more skill/strategy to win, and people complain about there not being a 'be all, end all' of weapons (halo 2 BR).

... but if you enjoy another game, great. But i wouldnt dare call a game as huge as Halo 3 a 'gaming dissapointment of catastrophic proportions'... because it clearly isnt.

ya i feel the same its just i really enjoy the game when i play with these guys that play sr, phalanx ive played with you a couple time and ill keep playin h3 if this site has people that play im just gonna switch between them depending who is on

If H3 was called anything else besides Halo, I strongly feel that Quinn would think it was phenomenal. You are comparing 3 completely different games with H1,2,3. Each time the game got better. And I like how you say that it is horrible and anybody with an AR will win but that makes it balanced. For you MLG 1337 pwnz0r players then the game isn't ready for that. The game is, guess what, its a GAME. No matter what you say to eat or do it is still a game. A very fun game when you actually just play it instead of always trying to critique the game. I am sorry to say but there are usually about 12 people on H3 and about 3 on H2 on my friends list and that is only cause they dont have a 360. I just like how the game has to be horrible for everybody just cause Quinn doesn't like it cause he gets beat down when he should of won, or someone throws a bubble shield down. It is part of the game. A pretty fun part of the game. Don't get me wrong, I hate it when someone beats me down after I beat down and they win or they throw a regenerator down when i have them dead. BUT ITS A GAME and a fun part of the game. It breaks up the stupid crap that halo 2 had.

How is the game horrible for everybody? Keep playing H3 demon I dont care I never tried to stop you..... I really am confused by your post, I simply said if people feel the same way about H3 as I do (there are plenty of people who dont like h3) then pick up SR because its a great game.

I personally believe that shadowrun is indeed a great game!!!!! People who haven't really looked into it really should IMO. Even if you just need a break to rest your wrist from your Halo 3, COD w/e #, or your sports games, SR is the perfect game for that!!!! Even if your not hardcore into it, i believe you should really give it a chance. At least rent it!!!!

In SR everything is different depending on race. If you are an elf you dont want to run around with a Katana because its a close range weapon and elf's die real quick. if an elf picks up a minigun they are incredibly slow because again an elf is not supposed to use a minigun. Speed is one of the elf's strong points.

If you are a troll your rifle has more of a kick/recoil because as a troll you are supposed to get in close and finish kills not sit back and pick people off.

in SR this is a risk/reward to every decision to make at the start of a game. In H3 there is no risk at all, if i 3 shot you in the head and am about to put my 4th shot in you, and you drop a bubble shield it rewarded the bubble shield wielder even though they put themselves in the bad situation in the first place. SR has none of that stuff.

in SR you can counter any magic/tech the other team uses because not one thing is overpowered. In h3 nothing fit's right, you took a fast paced game that rewarded players for having quick reflexes and good aiming skill and made it a sit back and campfest. Thats the new H3 and you cant argue the fact that this game was built from the ground up to be able to camp with poweful close range weapons. Shield doors, maulers, bubble shields, regin, power drainer, even the radar jammer makes it where you want to camp. Sorry but my halo series is not a sit back and camp RB6 style game. That is why I will stick to h2/SR and wait on Bungie to patch their game.

How many maps do not have some form of shield door on them or a bubble shield?

On a side note, your Sword and Spartan Laser dont seem to be the same thing to me. You cant kill someone cross the map with a sword, you can use the laser far more efficiently then even the sniper rifle. You can single zoom a Spartan laser half way across valhalla with ease. And with zoom you can shoot across the entire map. Who needs a sniper when you have a spartan laser? The laser destroys people and vehicles with greater ease then any weapon in the halo history

Again, everything you complained about was taking out for MLG customs. MLG being the epitome of Halo competitive gaming, how can you say it's not competitive when every single thing you mentioned as a negative is taken out?
