360 warranty add on and other stuff - 12-22-2006, 04:03 AM
Now that my 3 month manufacturer warranty wore out, is it possible to still get the 2 year one or no?
I mainly brought this up because when I turn on my 360 I hear like a little click or something, the 360 runs fine and all and I got a intercooler (not the nyko bullshit one) and a fan running on it so it's not from overheating, has anyone else heard that little click or tap sort of sound when they turn on their 360's? because if I can't get the extended warranty I don't want to have to fork over at least 100$'s for a new dvd drive or some bullshit thing that doesn't even come close to 100$'s.

yeah that click happens to me as well and has happened ever since i got my 360 (almost a year ago, last christmas) i have heard that it is just the harddrive and many other things 'booting up' so dont be to worried about it
my 360 is in perfect condition after a year and i dont see any problems with it and i have never had a problem with it, and i dont have the intercooler (knock on wood) |

ya lol then the only thing you should be worried about now is getting condesation on it or getting it 'too cold' which i dont think is really going to happen with a fan or 2
but also i would call best buy and ask them if you can still buy the 2 year for it, i dont think you will be able to because you have teaken it home and they probly dont trust people with what they do to it... and they say if you tamper with it in any way it breaks the warranty... but i would try to get it because you never know what may happen and besides it good to know that if something does go wrong you have a way of dealing with it besides of pulling $150 on fixing it |
