360 Cooling? - 01-04-2007, 06:09 PM

Well, I've had my 360 for a couple weeks and I've been hearing horror stories of peoples' consoles toasting up and the dreaded 3 red lights; I want to avoid this as much as possible.. I've done my research for solutions but the only probable solutions that came up were liquid cooling, which would void my warranty, and blowing a household fan directly upon the console.. neither am I able to go through with. I spotted some Notebook cooling fans that are powered by USB.. I was thinking that I could power the notebook color via the xbox 360's USB ports and have it placed under the console. How does this sound? Here's a couple I came across:

I have a 360 fan that goes under my 360 and it connects through the USB cord and works fine.

just spend the extra 5 or 10$ on and intercooler. It works great and its still cheap. Plus its actually made for the 360.
