What wireless router should i bye?? - 01-05-2007, 09:43 PM
For my origonal xbox i have had the wireless-G gaming adapter from BestBuy. For some reason EBgames says that i need the wireless 360 router for my 360 that connects to the back of my xbox.
http://www.game247.nl/ProdImages/ima...51529%5D_s.jpg For some wierd reason they said that the origonal router for the xbox wont work for the 360... I have been using the origional xbox router for about 2 weeks and nothing has gone wronge with it... the connection is fine... will the xbox router eventually mess up my connection?? And should i go out and by the 100 doller 360 router just in case it does?? http://www.microsoft.com/library/med...ireless_05.jpg

Dont buy it until you find problems, thats what id say. Dont spend 100$ on something you might not use. Go buy some nice new J's or something

HHAHAHA Gunna missed it finally its spelled "Buy" "Not Bye" Yeah woo hoo!!! lol as for the router I don't think you shoudl go with wireless. Unless its a hassle for cords wireless always seems to lag and be a real hassle. If you feel like paying 100 bucks by a router in the big blue box forget the name but its a top modem and router brand. Also if you go wireless its another 100 for the xbox wireless system and for 360 just little tid bits if you didn't have wireless before.
Edit: Forgot lol if they say it won't work and it is, then screw them you found a way around paying another 100 keep it, it shouldn't mess up the connection, you got problems buy another.

Another thing is ... will the router effect the graphics on regular xbox games??
For some reason on halo 2 i notice that in the custom games that is still the regular xbox graphics, but in matchmaking the graphics are great... Just like the 360... Why????

But I've never heard of routers affecting games themselves so I highly doubt it
