HELP!!!!! -port forwarding- - 01-10-2007, 11:38 AM

i need help with port forwarding, i just got a new router and it wont let me join people games, but when i went to portforwarding.com it didnt have my router type

help!

edit: it is a netgear FS605

and why when i look it up in google the pic of the ones i see look extremely different form mine?

he is having problems joinging partys over XBL and having people join him, so he i gave him the advice or port forwarding.

So someone smarter then me try to help him out.

You need a router not a switch dude. lol, i made the same mistake back when i was unknowing of the difference.

Buy a router... unless the switch comes with an IP address to access it's 'security' features... (check the manual)
