Nope got this one tackled as well.

Aight when it says you have an urgent message like that and you can't get to it, then your parental settings are off. You need to go to your dashboard, go as far right as you can and get into parental settings so it says like x-box live. Sign in on the e-mail for the account and I take it you will also need the parental one if you made one. Then you go to origional xbox games and it will say blocked. Click it and then click unblock or whatever the option is and save your settings. You will be able to play on the account.

That is why if you make a new account on a 360 you make your birthdate something something 1975 so you don't have to deal with it. If your e-mail says your over 18 it won't pull that bs on you.
