Question for you all - 03-17-2007, 11:22 PM

Just out of curiosity...Who here play with GelTabz?
They are to fit 360 and the original xbox. I bought them awhile back and In my opinion I think they are a great investment especially if you play Halo for hours and hours.
Just a word of advice if you do actually buy them. They might feel weird or unconformable at first, but don't get discouraged. They will eventually worn out (in a good way) and fit your thumbs. Once you get used to them, I think its def an advantage.
What do you guys think?
edit: Oh yea...you can pick these up at like Gamestop or EBgames or the website....for like $5
P.S.: Sorry for the triple thread

hmmm. I've been tempted to pick these up while @ EB.. and they're fairly cheap. I just didn't know if they were worth it or not. I might have to try these out though, because I sometimes find myself having to move my thumbs back up on the thumb sticks, and that gets pretty old really quick. Thanks for the review sheHATEme.

So these things keep your thumbs from sliding off the analog sticks when you're playing Halo? I might have to look into this...

Yea, I think its def an advantage, because most people have xbox controllers that wear out quickly and then they find themselves loosing a BR battle just because their thumb(s) slipped. I've had them now for like 5 months and my thumbs never slip off

I played with them for a while, and I thought they were a necessity. They don't make a difference for me because my problem is hitting start when I BXR someone. Gel tabz can hurt you as well because they can become deformed and you don't know it.

I bought these for my friend and I and in our case we never had a problem with hitting the start button on accident. Do you play on green thumb? In that case you would be clickXR than BXR.

Green thumb is the worst settings ever if you plan on playing MLG BR start. You cant zoom in in a br fight once you get knocked out of zoom, it also makes your sniping gone, you cant zoom in once you get knocked out. The only way playing green thumb can be done using the claw.
