Halo 2 on Xbox or 360? - 04-18-2007, 08:14 PM
I've always wondered if lag occured a lot more on the 360 than the Xbox playing Halo 2.
It just seems to lag more with the 360, 4 shots sometimes doesn't kill, and beat downs lunge through 80% of the time. I played on an Xbox the other day and it just seemed to flow a lot better. My beat downs were hitting, and the BR felt normal. It didn't take 5-6 shots to kill someone. If anyone knows for sure I would really like to know, I might even get my friend to give me his Xbox (he never plays). |

Well I can't really judge to much about playing on the regular xbox since my first xbox system was a 360. I have played the reg. xbox though. But I dont think there is too much of a difference. I don't think lag or anthing is a problem for the 360 it's just what controller feels better for you.

I'm going to agree with you, even though I know this is just confirmation bias. But I did play with my friend the other day, so I set up my xbox, and it seemed like the game was much smoother flowing. My guess is that it's the controller.

I just want to know if there is less lag on the Xbox, maybe it runs smoother or something like that. |

There is a thing called "360 Lag", thats when alot of people shoot at the same time and the fps drops.
Its not a lag, just fps drop. Also, there is no fog on Lockout. Frozen silohuettes of another map sometimes. Otherwise I would say there isnt anything much difference except the graphics. |
