the disc when you open it does it fall out? you might not of had it secured

actually, a percentage of 360s have come out with scratched discs when standing up. It's not something I am just making up. Yours may not have done that, but there have been others that have.

luckily i wont be standing mine up....unless you're putting it in a entertainment shelf type of thing theres really no point as to standing it up...i mean if u have the space why not lay it down?

to avoid overheating dont lay it down on a rug though, thats when u stand it up

i figured out why it might be scratching your discs... the other day i was playin madden 06 and i just wanted to turn the 360 sideways and it scratched the discs idk why i just did so i wouldnt move it while it is on....but otherwise it has never scratched any of my discs
