Rumor: New X360 comes w/100GB HDD!

I’m not sure how much I believe this rumor, but My Xbox 360 is reporting that the premium Xbox 360 pack is getting an upgrade in April.

Apparently, at the start of April, Premium packs will start shipping with 5x the HDD size of their predecessors. Cool for those who are about to buy a 360; very uncool for those who already picked theirs up.

They say the rumor comes from a Best Buy employee who works at a store in New Jersey. The employee adds that Best Buy is having some big sale in early April as well.

The fact that this tip is supposed to come true on April Fools Day doesn’t lend it much credence. I’m leaning toward it being fake. I’d think any sort of free upgrade or price drop would be timed closer to the release of the PS3, not while the 360 is still selling out at the current price.

will never happen...MS is makin so much cash off sellin that hard drive/premium package deal that theyd never give that up....

but in a small chance, maybe gates is tryin to just be anice guy? haha doubt it....

this is bullshit. Not gonna happen. I have heard though that 3rd party companies (Pelicon, MadCats) might release a 30 gig HDD.

i want a terabyte hdd to be standard.......

Why would you need a TB hdd? I sad the maximum memory you would need would be around 30-40 GB.

best buy doesnt even know when they get their 360's anymore...why would they know about some huge sale way in advance?

I want a 1 TB HDD too, why shouldnt microsoft realease a 100Gb HDD when they can bring in more money of it.

how do you guys use 40 gigs? i dont know how "blocks" there are to a mb or gig but what would all that space get used for?
