Help w/ Xbox Connect

Well i decided to download XBC and try to play some Halo 1 on it but I am having problems. I have my xbox 360 set up to my wireless network and XBC cannot locate my console. Anyone know how to fix this?

Wireless is kinda bad for xbc...try hooking it up to a LAN. I had problems when I 1st started but I realised that my firewall was blocking the connection

Make sure you dont have Zone Alarm up or something because Global had the same problems

Definately do NOT use wireless... You would lag like a mutha f'er... Even if you host... People would leave because it's so laggy...

I think i read somewhere on the setup instructions that it iwll not work with a wirelss connection......even if it works good luck playing a game where you do not have to lead someone half the level

xbc prolly needs a direct(an ethernet cord) conection to play....i have one and it works fine

thanks guys...my router is across my apartment so it might be too hard to hook it up like that so I guess I won't play but thanks again

That WAS my problem until i got desperate to play... so I moved my tv and xbox so that it was next to the router + computer...

haha nice.... i think u can get wirless to work somehow but it'll be really laggy

u might have the same problem that i had is when u try and join a game make sure that ur in the system link menu so like sign in and then click on system link and then ull be able to make and join games
