yeah to play xbox on xbox 360 you need to buy the one with a hard drive

Yeah, you'll need the hard drive because apparently, the hard drive has the emulation software on it. If you have xbox live then you'll be able to download extra new features (such as 720p HDTV--maybe even 1080i.)

Also, a lot of good games are on the list, but why in hell would MS even waste money on Yourself!Fitness???

Yeah the $399 package which come to roughly $439 with tax is the version with the hard drive which is needed to play the xbox games on the 360. Some of the more popular games are going to have the patch, which makes them playable on the 360, on the hard drive when you buy it. Other patches are said to be offered via live downloads. (not sure how that will work or if it's true).
The system itself looks great, from the exterior all the way to the 360 dashboard. We've already got two in...and the accessories are on their way. Thursday perhaps

yeah but if the emulation things rite, doesnt that mean that new xbox games arent gonna be playable, cos i want Black and maybe Half-life 2 (already have it on pc) but they mite not be playable on my 360 rite?

i imagine they will continually release patches for the newer games... but you never know with msft... the idiots dont have enough 360s to keep up wiht the demand. Bad idea when you are trying to get in ahead of PS3 and steal market share...
