vegs is easy and good for people just starting out with editing

premier is more technical and harder to learn

but id go with premier just cuz i hate vegas and premier pwns nubs

i'd go with adobe premier, hardest to use, but definitly the best
go to www.adobechat.com , if you haven't already, its new right now, and there aren't to many pointer's/tips yets, but there should be soon when the site gets bigger
