mod my xbox

i have an extra xbox and im thinkin about buying a modchip and stuff for custom games...theres a place in town that will hook it up for me bc i have a friend who works there....does anyone know where i can buy a modchip from?

Don't buy, please... With a extra xbox, you can play xbox connect.

You can play XBC with a modded xbox also. I too have an extra xbox which is modded. Currently it is softmodded, but thats because I havent had to time/money to buy a chip for it. Ive played with it on XBC quite a few times.

If your friend's shop can install everything for you then I'm sure they know of good places to buy from. I'd ask them first.

im tryin to do the same thing...im talkin to leakysoup he knows some about it..his friend did it..u gota buy those chips and us the saud. iron and get it to your x box...and i duno..but i wanna do it

my friend was gunna do this thing to mine, taht i am not even sure if it would work, but, like a while ago, i wanted a modded xbox, so he was gunna take out the hard drive of my xbox and like hook it up to my computer, and download all these mods onto it, and then pit it back into my xbox or something, i dunno, but i didn't get him to do it (obviously) just cause i didn't want him to break my xbox and he never got around to doing it

yeah i have a friend that lives in stl that used to buy refurbished xbox's and put mod chips in them and sell them...but he modz to steal games...like i think he put extra memory into his xbox so he rents new games then burns them to his hard drive...so he gets brand new games for like 2$....but i think you can get on the internet and download the programs to mod or somethin like that with the mod chip he used....or somethin

like i said...its for CUSTOMS only.....are you going to pull the little kid in pregame lobby trick and say "you better not be modding because my dad works for bungie and he can bann your account hehe "......people who mod in MM are gay....like full on elton john gay...(thats like a 9 on a scale of 1 to 10)

I'm not experienced with modded Xboxes, but I do know that Video Release 03 of thebroken covers it. Xbox-Scene is also a great repository of modding information.
