Warning To All 360 Users

This is to all Xbox 360 users! If you have the Nyco Intercooler, rip it off your xbox NOW. It burns your xbox and this is a real quote from a user of it:

True, it did help keep it cooler..... Noticably so, but I started having probs not long after with the FANS not running right. They would occasionally "grind" and make odd nopises to where I'd just turn them off sometimes. This stopped a few months ago, and all was well........

Then, I got the "3 red lights of doom" Only happened briefly, and I was able to restart without any issues.

Until last week, when the 360 went poof.... 3 red lights, no rebooting helped at all. So, I sent in for my return tag from Circuit City (I got the 3 year warranty) and they instructed me to pack it up, and send it back for a new one.

As I disassemble it, I pulled off the INTERCOOLER and noticed it wass BURNED. Yes, BURNED on the connectors... So thinkiing THIS may be the issue, I removed the intercooler, took some alcolhol and cleaned the XBOX contacts, and put it all back together (minus the intercooler of course) and have had ZERO problems....

I think I'll be contacting NYCO with this issue, as this could have been much worse. It could have seriously damamged my console, or perhaps even started a fire.

So if you have an INTERCOOLER, I suggest taking it off, and examining it for burns/shorts etc........

Yep, I've never gotten it, it got bad reviews in the first place. It said that it made a very loud noice, louder then the box normally is, and was just overall, not that much of a difference.

yo i keep my 360 on a diagnol tilt to the left and it work fine. that the way i roll with AKs and Desert Eagles.

i have a 360, no problems... its only if you have the cooler thing, which is like 25$ to buy, and should only be used if your box is on carpet, if you have it, and play on Tile/Hardwood, your just an idiot for buying it
