New 360 stuff

I just saw where they are selling a HD DVD add-on . I guess to co0mpete with the PS3 when it comes out. Jsut seeing if anyone has an opinion on what they would do.

do you have an HDTV? have you ever seen any tv broadcast or movie in HD? I highly doubt it and I'm pretty sure you have no idea what the hell you are talking about. Yes $200 is pretty expensive BUT if you were to go buy any other stand alone HD DVD player it'll cost you $500+. So if you get the 360 and HD drive you'll end up paying $100 more but you'll end up getting a next generation gaming system. $200 is a fvcking deal for a HD DVD player. sorry to sound harsh but its very much worth is if you have the money and an HDTV.

I have an HDTV but my 360 isn't hooked up to it, so I'll probably never buy it.

Well if I was Microsoft I would have just added that to the 360 before they launch it, but no they decide to be cheap and charge you 200$ to buy it. That one reason why the Ps3 will do better because it has Blue-Ray drive. And it would look mighty ugly because its and external ( meaning out side of the 360)
drive. It would also be a pain in the ass to move the 360 because of this add-on. But if they do make games for the HDD DVD and they are like a lot better then the normal DVD games then I might buy it, but other wise its carp.

i think its cool, but kinda impratical like melrin said it shoulda been built in but! this is still better than that gay blue ray thing!
