Help my 360 wont turn on!

OK so i tried turning on my 360 this morning and instead of the green ring around the power button on the console a red one came on and keeps flashing....anybody have any ideas?!

If it is a full red circle it means a cable is lose, if it is 3 quarters or less your console is screwed.

edit: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO console screwed. what do i do?! do i call xbox?

just check all the wires are in the back and in the tv. If they are and still dosn't work call xbox or take it back to the shop.

they will tell u wat to do.....the same thing happened to me....they will prolly give u a new one if they cant fix that one

When mine broke i called microsoft and they sent me a email with the address to send my 360 to. I got mine back within the week but i live in England so they are proberly not as busy as America.

I have to send it in to Texas, its going to cost me $139.00 . So I will not be on xbl for a while and probably won't be able to participate in the gv league

this is what happened to Blades maybe you could pm him for more info but yeah call 1-800-4myxbox

they will send a box out and you ship it to them and they will fix it or they will give you a new one... also if you bought it before 1-1-06 then it will be free anything after i think you have to pay some $$ for the fix
