I dont get why they would push h2 maps for 360 only release firsthand. 360 sucks at emulating h2 anyways.
It's inevitable that MLG will have to purchase 360 consoles for when h3 rolls around. They could either purchase HDTV CRT's (you can get a 27" ~300-400 bucks now price will drop), or will have to play them on regular TV's. For competitive play, playing at the highest possible resolution is not necessarily the preference of a lot of pro players. In PC gaming esp, a lot of players will choose to play a game in a 800x600 window (some even 640x480) despite the fact that competition level PC's can support much greater resolution/graphical detail. The customizability feature alone for h3 makes it inevitable that a competitive shooter can be built around h3...that and I doubt too many people will be playing h2 when 3 rolls around. |

new maps, not great, i doubt bungie will have made something good, the best they could do is give us back tha old maps, and paying for them is BS, bungie has kept us waiting for halo3 and now we're supposed to pay for a bunch of maps that run tha risk of sucking
this info isnt exactly good news

I like the thought of new maps, but why wait so long after H2 has been out to release them? And I'm not totally sure if I want to be able to beta test H3, that could possibly take all the fun out of playing the complete game for the first time...kind of like when you find your Christmas presents before they've even been wrapped, it just kills the joy. That's how I feel anyhow.
